Citroen Xsara rolls over on the Zarasai–Bradesiai–Obeliai road
On Saturday, 10 October 2015, at night at 23:50, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Zarasai–Bradesiai–Obeliai national road (kilometre 4.13), a Citroen Xsara rolled over. One person died — a 43-year-old passenger of the Citroen (was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Citroen (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
