On Tuesday, 20 October 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Luokesa–Jauros I regional road (kilometre 3), a Subaru Legacy ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Subaru, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
