On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the afternoon at 15:50, in Šilalės district municipality, Stungaičių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 237.20), a Volvo XC90 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Volvo (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
