On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the evening at 21:45, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 45), a Mercedes-Benz ML320 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (1 year of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs, committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
