On Sunday, 25 October 2015, in the evening at 20:51, in Vilnius, on Bukčių street, at the junction with Šiltnamių street, a BMW 320 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.41‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
