On Thursday, 29 October 2015, in the afternoon at 14:01, in Utenos district municipality, on the Tauragnai–Sirvydžiai–Daugailiai regional road (kilometre 2.15), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. One person died — a 41-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed.
