On Sunday, 1 November 2015, in the evening at 18:44, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Švenčionėliai–Raudonė–Zablatiškė regional road (kilometre 1.60), a Renault Clio rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.86‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
