On Thursday, 5 November 2015, at night at around 23:00, in Skuodo district municipality, Barstyčių town, on Sedos street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Seat Alhambra. One person was injured — a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.05‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
