On Saturday, 7 November 2015, at night at 23:20, in Prienų district municipality, on the Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė national road (kilometre 27.80), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She was drunk (2.73‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
