On Monday, 9 November 2015, in the morning at 8:30, in Alytaus district municipality, Vaisodžių village, on Sodų street near No. 2, a Nissan Almera ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Nissan (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.09‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
