On Saturday, 7 November 2015, in the evening at 17:30, in Lazdijų district municipality, Šadžiūnų village, on the Leipalingis–Lazdijai–Kalvarija national road (kilometre 6.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Renault (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
