On Thursday, 12 November 2015, in the evening at 22:40, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Rūdninkų village, on Bažnyčios street near No. 6, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Opel Omega hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.24‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
