On Sunday, 15 November 2015, in the afternoon at 12:32, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Šilutė–Ramučiai–Gardamas regional road (kilometre 11), a BMW 520 registered in Sweden rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
