On Wednesday, 18 November 2015, at night at around 2:00, in Kalvarijos municipality, Sūsninkų village, on Lazdijų street near No. 19, at a public-transport stop, an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.30‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
