On Saturday, 14 November 2015, in the morning at 8:17, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 85), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra-B, a Mercedes-Benz 2541 and a Koegel Zvkt 18. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.81‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
