On Saturday, 21 November 2015, at night at around 0:00, in Biržų district municipality, on the Parovėja–Medeikiai–Nemunėlio Radviliškis regional road (kilometre 9.33), a Rover 211 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
