On Thursday, 26 November 2015, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 136.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF CF 85.430 registered in Latvia and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the DAF (34 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
