On Friday, 27 November 2015, in the evening at 17:40, in Vilnius, on Žaliųjų Ežerų street near No. 72, a BMW 520 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
