On Saturday, 28 November 2015, at night at 1:21, in Vilniaus district municipality, Bareikiškių village, on the Vilnius–Minskas main road (kilometre 16), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a DAF FAR XF105.410 registered in Russia, a Schmitz SCS 24, a Schmitz SKO 27 registered in Belarus and a Volvo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the DAF (13 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
