Hit-and-run, unlicensed Rover driver hits an obstacle on P. Kalpoko street, Kaunas
On Saturday, 5 December 2015, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on P. Kalpoko street near No. 76, a Rover 200 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
