On Wednesday, 9 December 2015, at night at around 1:00, in Pagėgių municipality, Gudų village, on the Pagėgiai–Gudai–Sartininkai regional road (kilometre 4), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident involved a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of a car (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.31‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
