On Monday, 14 December 2015, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Šiaulių district municipality, Dirvonėnų village, on Nelindos street near No. 13, a Mazda 323 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
