On Monday, 21 December 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Pumpėnai–Rinkūnai–Žadeikiai regional road (kilometre 2.45), a Volkswagen Vento ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
