On Thursday, 24 December 2015, at night at 4:41, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Rozalimas–Derveliai–Aukštelkiai regional road (kilometre 4.15), an Opel Vectra rolled over. Two people were injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized) and a 13-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.11‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
