On Saturday, 26 December 2015, at night at around 3:00, in Prienų district municipality, Benčiakiemio village, an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.01‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
