On Monday, 28 December 2015, at night at 1:55, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 36.12), a Citroen C3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Citroen (29 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
