On Thursday, 7 January 2016, in the evening at 17:37, in Zarasų district municipality, Degučių village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 168), a Renault Premium 450.19 registered in Serbia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Renault (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
