On Tuesday, 19 January 2016, in the afternoon at 16:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 304.70), an Opel Omega hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
