Drunk, unlicensed Mitsubishi driver in crash with Citroen in Skaidiškių village
On Tuesday, 19 January 2016, at night at 23:25, in Vilniaus district municipality, Skaidiškių village, on Sodų street near No. 41, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Galant and a Citroen. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
