On Thursday, 21 January 2016, in the afternoon at 14:14, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 28, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Evobus O 530 G and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Evobus (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
