On Friday, 22 January 2016, in the evening at 21:37, in Vilniaus district municipality, Galgių village, on Mokyklos street, at the junction with M. Koperniko street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
