On Sunday, 24 January 2016, at night at 3:15, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Pagrundžiai–Bajoriškiai–Robliai regional road (kilometre 5.05), a Volkswagen Touran ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
