On Tuesday, 24 November 2015, at night at around 2:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on Parko street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Sharan, a Volkswagen Passat, an Opel Astra Station Wagon, a Ford Focus and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Sharan (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was under the influence of psychoactive substances and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
