On Tuesday, 26 January 2016, in the morning at 9:15, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Legacy Outback, an Iveco and an Audi A6. Two people were injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 46-year-old passenger of the Subaru (hospitalized). All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
