On Tuesday, 9 February 2016, in the evening at 21:50, in Skuodo district municipality, Rumšaičių village, on the Telšiai–Alsėdžiai–Barstyčiai–Skuodas regional road (kilometre 37.25), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
