On Thursday, 25 February 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Rietavo municipality, on the Kryžkalnis–Rietavas–Vėžaičiai national road (kilometre 60.60), a Ford Mondeo rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Ford (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
