On Sunday, 28 February 2016, in the afternoon at 16:16, in Panevėžio district municipality, Sodelių village, on Pyvesos street near No. 23, a MTZ ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the MTZ, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
