On Thursday, 3 March 2016, in the morning at 8:20, in Biržų district municipality, Drąseikių village, on Drąseikių street, at the junction with Ąžuolynės street, an Audi A4 registered in Great Britain hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
