On Tuesday, 8 March 2016, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 107.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Land Rover (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
