On Tuesday, 8 March 2016, in the evening at 19:40, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 22, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Grand Voyager and a BMW 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Chrysler (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
