On Friday, 18 March 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 38, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo 850 and a BMW 5ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volvo (43 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
