On Friday, 25 March 2016, in the evening at 22:06, in Telšių district municipality, on the Užventis–Varniai national road (kilometre 19.45), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda Xedos 6 and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
