On Sunday, 27 March 2016, in the afternoon at 11:06, in Jonavos district municipality, Mimalių village, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 40.60), a Rover 75 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Rover, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.82‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
