On Monday, 28 March 2016, in the evening at 20:55, in Klaipėda, on Naujakiemio street near No. 25, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407, a Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI, a Mitsubishi Carisma, a Nissan Almera Tino, an Opel Astra, a Ford Mondeo and a BMW 330. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
