On Thursday, 31 March 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on A. Smetonos al., at the junction with Mažoji street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Urbino 12 and a Volkswagen Passat Variant registered in Great Britain. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Solaris (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
