On Wednesday, 6 April 2016, in the morning at 7:56, in Kaunas, on Nemajūnų street near No. 11, a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
