On Saturday, 9 April 2016, in the morning at 10:10, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 1.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 325, a Chrysler Grand Voyager and an Opel Vectra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
