On Saturday, 16 April 2016, in the evening at 19:05, in Kretingos district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 124, a Mazda 626 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mazda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
