On Friday, 22 April 2016, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Kaunas, on Islandijos pl., on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager, a Honda CR-V, a Renault, a Ford Focus, a Renault Laguna, a Skoda Octavia, a Peugeot 307, a Skoda Superb and a Lawrence. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Chrysler (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
