On Sunday, 24 April 2016, at night at 2:40, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl., at the junction with Pakalnės street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved an Aprilia SR 125 registered in Germany and a Hyundai ix35. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Aprilia, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
